Bitten by Reason... I Mean Mosquitos
I'm not sure I've ever had more mosquito bites at one time than I do now. I counted this morning, and I have almost 30. One on the back of each hand, three on my poor bald head, and a whole mess load on my legs. I itch.
We went camping this weekend, "we" being Cody, Sarah and I. Gail stayed at home with her folks, and enjoyed being kid free for a night. We did all the normal camping things, had a bonfire, sang songs, made smores, and generally had a good time. While I was enjoying myself, I wanted to get back home. The reason? Reason.
On Friday, before camping, the software I'd gotten off of eBay arrived. I finally, FINALLY have a copy of Reason to call my very own. I bought a never-registered copy of 2.0 for 200 bucks, and the guy selling it threw in a "Getting started with Reason" CD for free. After registering my copy of Reason with Propellerhead, I was entitled to the upgrade to 2.5 for free. Musicansfriend.com, one of my favorite online music stores, is selling Reason 2.5 for $350 bucks.
I think I made a good choice. I went out to Borders and got the Users' Guide to Propellerhead Reason 2. Now all I need to get is a Midi keyboard (I have a my eye on a Midiman Oxygen 8), and I'll finally be on my way to a home studio setup.
Anyone have a midi keyboard for sale? Cheap?
